SSC CGL Tier 2 – Post-wise Effective Cutoff (General Category, Indicative)

Tier 2 cutoffs are expressed as final marks out of 390 (Paper 1). Post-wise allocation happens based on Tier 2 merit. The table below shows approximate minimum scores needed for top posts (General category).

How to Calculate Your SSC CGL Tier 1 Score

Formula: Score = (Correct × 2) – (Wrong × 0.5)
Example: 80 correct, 10 wrong → (80 × 2) – (10 × 0.5) = 160 – 5 = 155
